The correct size Posidyne® X Series clutch/brakes can usually be selected by horsepower of the motor and RPM using the size selection chart following. Simply find the motor horsepower and speed, follow down to the correct X series clutch/brake

When high cycle rates are required, check the maximum cycle rate chart using the total load inertia reflected back to the clutch/brake output shaft. This chart does not include the effects of high load torque which will add additional heat dissipation requirements.
