Many of the early Besser V3R & V3-12 Vibrapacs Block Machines used a Warner Clutch brake on the main drive. When Force Control became involved with the Besser company this was eventually changed over to the Posidyne clutch brake that is used to this day. However there are still machine out there that still have the Warner clutch brake.
The Warner clutch brakes are shaft mount design and the Posidyne clutch brake with the standard foot mounting is not a direct replacement. At the request of many customers Force Control designed a simple upgrade package including the mounting base and Posidyne clutch brake.
Upgrading to the Posidyne clutch brake eliminates the high maintenance associated with the large Warner electro-mechanical clutches and brakes and allows higher machine cycle rates. The bottom line is lower maintenance and repair cost, fewer spare parts, and increased production.

Posidyne Oil Shear Clutch Brakes last so much longer than the popular dry friction inexpensive clutch brakes it is sometimes hard to determine how much savings can be realized.
